Accessibility
Last updated 15 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to use the calculators and read the guides, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
micro-service.ai aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Because the site is operated by Shabloool, which is based in Israel, we also aim to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG. We have checked the site ourselves; it has not yet been audited by an outside accessibility expert.
What we have done
- Structure. Standard HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), one main heading per page, headings in order, and table header rows. The page language is set to English.
- Keyboard. Every link, button and form control works with the keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link comes first, and the focused element always has a visible outline.
- Forms and results. Every calculator input has a visible label. When a calculator's total changes, screen readers are told.
- Contrast. Text, links and buttons aim for at least 4.5:1 contrast in both the light and dark theme. The dark theme follows your device setting.
- Small screens and zoom. The layout works down to 320 pixels wide, wide tables scroll inside their own box, and pinch-to-zoom is never blocked.
- No moving content. There is no video, audio or animation.
Known limitations
- The comparison tables under the calculators update as you type, but screen readers are only told about the main total, not every row.
- The ledger's bar chart is drawn with coloured bars; the same numbers are written next to each bar.
There may be other problems we have not found. If something on the site is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us.
